District 9: The (short)film that started it!!!

Yep, this is the independent shortfilm Peter Jackson and Neill Blomkamp based on for the on coming blockbuster DISCTRICT 9, directed by Blomkamp, hymself, which is the main reason the videogame HALO was uphold until new notice.



This is apparently (because I haven´t seen it yet) a film that blends sci fi elements in a political scenary. very in the style made decades ago, in the time of the cold war and movies like "The day the Earth stood still" (not the one with Keanu, for crying out loud). The trailers and teaser make me think it's gonna be the best film of the year, I really hope to be right...
